Role Overview
As an HR Intern, you will take ownership of real recruitment, talent acquisition, and people operations work — not observation or busywork. You'll work directly with the founders on candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and employer branding, and you'll be trained on AI-assisted HR workflows: using AI tools for sourcing, screening, and process automation — one of the most in-demand skill sets in modern HR.
This is a full-time internship with a clear pathway: high performers are considered for paid full-time roles at Akranit as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and social media platforms
Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers
Leverage AI tools to accelerate sourcing, screening, and recruitment operations
Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers throughout the hiring process
Assist with onboarding, HR documentation, policies, and SOPs
Support employer branding, recruitment campaigns, and employee engagement activities
Prepare HR reports and collaborate across departments to understand hiring needs

Eligibility
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field
Final-year students, recent graduates, or freshers with relevant projects/coursework
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Familiarity with MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable working across time zones with a distributed international team
